Zeitgeist, translated from German meaning the “spirit of an age”, is probably one of the most important films of our time. I have seen my fair share of documentaries, and despite being familiar with most of the subject matter in this film I was still blown away (I mean seriously, holy shit). Zeitgeist has caused quite a stir since its very recent release, first being banned from American theaters and now YouTube can’t quite make up its mind on whether or not to censor it from the public (it has been taken off and put back on a few times). Thankfully Google hasn’t applied its standards of government censorship here in the States as it has in China. Tackling the most prominent and influential events in recent American history, this film combines the best of the best footage and information that will challenge what you think about everything from WWI to the War on Terror, 9-11 to Christianity, the Income Tax lie to the media. Part One focuses on the myth of Jesus and we will post the other two parts in the following days. This may be hard to watch, but all we ask is that you keep an open mind while putting aside everything you’ve been told…
